Overview of the role purpose and objectives:

Working in the capacity of a Warehouse operative to work alongside our Finishing and Despatch departments providing warehouse and logistical support as required.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Safely transport, deliver, collect and unload goods between our sites, at our customer’s premises and suppliers (use of a FLT and driving a van), reporting any defects or damages immediately to the Finishing Manager.
  • Assist with the inspection of all goods received/returned
  • Assist in the receiving and booking in of goods received in Finishing and Despatch
  • Assist with stock checks when required.
  • Housekeeping of main working and car parking areas, keeping it clean and tidy of rubbish at all times.
  • To assist with order packing, shrink wrapping and order collation/loading of customers’ orders.
  • Responsible for the general up keep of the company vehicle, reporting any incidents, accidents, breakages, maintenance requirements to the Despatch Manager.

Overview of the role

To work within our busy finishing team ensuring that all of our orders are finished to a high standard, within agreed deadlines so that orders are ready to be despatched on time.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Check job bag instructions and ensure accuracy of specifications to produce an accurate and quality end product.
  • Ensure adequate and efficient supply of materials are ready to minimise machine downtime
  • Operating various print finishing machines and maintain an efficient production workflow
  • Ensure all finishing jobs are packed, labelled and palletised correctly prior to going to despatch department
  • Carry out scheduled cleaning and maintenance of machines
  • Adhere to health and safety policies and implement safe working practices

 Essential Skills

  • Ideally previous experience with both Litho and Digital finishing print machines, including Muller/Guillotine/ Folder/ Booklet maker/Laminator
  • Previous pick and pack experience
  • Flexibility to work shifts (Variety available including permanent nights)
  • Able to remain calm and concentrate in a busy fast paced environment.
  • Methodical and organised.
  • Attention to detail
  • Target and deadline driven
  • Keen to learn new ways of working and keep skills up to date.

Overview of the role purpose and objectives:

Working within our Finishing Department you will support the Print Finisher at the end of their machine (Folder, Guillotine etc), or on the pick and pack benches hand finishing and packing printed products, labelling boxes ensuring that a quality end product is presented to our Despatch department, within time frames expected.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • To take printed work and perform various finishing operations to get them ready for delivery.
  • To assist print Finishers as required

Essential Skills

Customer Service Representative

Overview of the role purpose and objectives:

To work closely with the Business development managers and Sales team to maintain and grow client relationships.  To achieve this you will also need to effectively liaise with internal colleagues in the chain of production and supply so that the client journey is as smooth and problem free as possible. 

Main responsibilities:

  • Data entry of orders onto our Management Information System (MIS, EFI PACE)
  • Manage a portfolio of clients to build client relationships to support growth in sales and maintain any preferred supplier status, communicating any relevant updates to them.
  • Utilise the in house Management Information System (MIS, EFI PACE) as a productivity tool to manage customer relationships.
  • Successfully liaising and negotiating with both internal and external parties to ensure customer fulfilment 
  • Calmly and effectively solving any problems / issues that arise in a timely manner 
  • Provide support to the Business Development Managers through excellent customer service 
  • Support other areas of the business when required, for example estimating and finishing 

We’re looking for someone who has;

Administration Assistant – Finishing & Despatch

Overview of the role purpose and objectives:

To assist and support the departmental managers to ensure that we deliver quality finished orders to our clients within the agreed delivery time frame.

Main responsibilities:

  • Provide Administration support to the Works Manager, Finishing Manager and Despatch Manager.
  • General office duties, Scanning, Filing and answering incoming calls  Producing paper work i.e. Purchase orders, Delivery notes, labels.
  • Scheduling couriers for deliveries
  • Liaising with outwork suppliers re both delivery and collection of goods  Producing Purchase orders.
  • Updating internal MIS system.
  • Chasing Proof of deliveries, via internet or phone.
  • Internal point of contact for Finishing or despatch queries.

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional Customer Service skills
  • Flexibility/ adaptability to cope with change
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Ability to build networks and relationships
  • Previous administrative experience in busy, fast paced environment.
